In modern casinos "Keno runners" walk around calling "keno!" and offer to carry players' wagers to the keno booth for processing. The keno runner collects the wagers and the "inside tickets" of the players. A keno wager form filled out by the customer is called the "inside ticket". Then the wager and the ticket are taken to the keno counter. In return the player receives an "outside ticket" - an official wager receipt.
