Keno is a lottery-like or bingo-like gambling game played at modern casinos. The parts of a keno game are a circular glass enclosure called a "bubble" and 80 ping pong-like balls which determine the balldraw result. Each ball has a number (from 1 to 80) imprinted on it. The balls are mixed by a blower when it pushes air into the bubble. A "caller" presses a lever opening a tube, where the balls lift one at a time into a "V" shaped tube called the "rabbit ears". Each of 20 balls drawn are recorded by the caller and a "verifier" and all wagers based on the numbers drawn are calculated by the computerized keno system. An "X" is put over the "spot" choices on a blank keno ticket form with 80 numbered selection boxes (1 to 80). After that you can place your wagers and then the casino draws 20 balls (numbers) at random. Each casino sets its own series of pay scale choices called "paytables". Depending on how many numbers drawn match the numbers selected on the ticket the player is paid this or that sum of money. Players will find a wide variation of keno paytables from casino to casino and a large deviation in the house edge set for each of those paytables. No two casinos' keno paytables are identical. Usually the house edge is from less than 4% to 66%.

There are numbers from 1 to 80 on each keno ball. A blower pushes air into the bubble and mixes the balls during the balldraw. After all players successfully place their wagers, the casino draws 20 balls (numbers) at random. "Paytables" are series of pay scale choices that are set by the casino. The player is paid based on how many numbers drawn match the numbers selected on the ticket and according to the paytable selected with regard to the wager amount. Keno paytables and the house edge set for each of those paytables vary greatly from casino to casino. One can hardly find two absolutely identical keno paytables. The house edge ranges from less than 4% to 66%.

Virtual City offers a number of popular payment options to make online banking as hassle free as possible for the player. Although I have played at some of the other casinos in this group, Virtual City was not one I had tried before and with my fingers itching for a gamble I decided it was time for another review. Virtual City Casino has a very definite futuristic-style theme which is instantly obvious from the neon colors used and graphics of modern skyscrapers adorning the homepage of the casino website.
