When a player bets on the numbers marked as a single wager it is a straight ticket betting. The simplest way to play is to make a straight ticket bet, but a lot of players don't like it.
If you want to make a king ticket bet you should circle the number which will be used in all combinations marked.
If a player marks several number groupings and plays combinations of them he makes a combination ticket bet.
The player payout depends on how many numbers the player choses and how many numbers are "hit", multiplied by the proportion of the player's original wager to the “base rate” of the paytable. Typically, the more numbers a player chooses and the more numbers hit, the greater the payout, although some paytables pay for hitting a lesser number of spots.

After the 20 numbers are drawn, winning tickets are paid according to a table that varies from house to house. For example, a four-spot ticket with wagered might return the if two numbers hit, bring if three numbers hit, and pay 0 if all four come in. Combination Bets

This gives you 5 chances to win - either for the straight bet or for the grouped bets. Let's say you place 2 sets of numbers: 1,2,3 and 5,6,7. You are sure to win something if at least 2 numbers out of each set come out. But if you prefer straight bets you lose more often. The idea of combination bets is easy to grasp. And if you get used to applying them you can win much more often.
Bet Against
To make this bet you mark at least eight spots on the ticket. Bet Against means that you are sure none of the numbers you marked will appear during the balldraw. Your bet wins only if none of the numbers come out.
Catch All
This option can be played with 2 to 7 spots marked on the ticket. You are betting that you will catch all the numbers that you selected. You win if all your numbers come up.
Top or Bottom
Top or Bottom Bet is made before marking the ticket. There are two variants of this bet: whether the top part of the ticket or the bottom one will have fewer spots. The payoff depends on how great that difference is.
